Overview

Hull 227 is configured in 2 cabin style with main cabin and fore and aft cabins. Main cabin containing galley, salon, navigation station and aft head/shower. Fwd cabin includes settee, v-berth, port side head with sink, shower, and storage cabinet. Aft cabin contains double berth and lockers. This modern sloop is CE certified for all oceans and has proven herself in Great Lakes gales and rough Gulf Stream conditions.

Dealer modified to increase holding tank size to 20 gallons each under the v-berth and settee opening space for storage cabinets in both heads with y-valves for blue water usage, owner added shelves to both head cabinets as well as shelves to galley and salon cabinets. Dealer installed navigation station electronics. Bottom finish includes Interlux 2000 epoxy barrier coating and Micron+ ablative paint.

Extras include an Espar forced air diesel heater for comfortable cold weather cruising and anchoring, 2 automatic fire systems, inverter with link 2000 monitor for power management and Accu-gage tanks monitor on water and holding tanks.

Vessel delivered Lake Michigan and sailed 3 seasons, including one winter on the American Great Loop.  Meticulously maintained by former boat builder. This boat is equipped for serious cruising  on the Great Lakes or oceans.
