The Great Loop

Ft Myers Photo gallery

2/9/05- We're stuck again! This time by choice - we've found an interesting place to hang in for a while. With a $0.25 TrolLee (their spelling), a 3 minute dinghy ride to the supermarket / liquor store and white sand beaches. Not too shabby.

Ruth in the white stuff

Great beach, miles of soft white sand.

Waterfront property

Pretty basic, but multi-million dollar land just the same.

Imagination in the sand

Stones for gems, sand for molding material, a child artist creates.

Bobby's

Shot this one on the beach for our grandson Bobby.

Our anchorage

Light fog masks Salty Sam's Marina - fuel, food and music.

Good morning morning

The sun burns through light fog as it climbs over the mangroves.

Lil' Sis

A sailboat's sailboat in dress alike paint.

Times Square Statue

The western past is honored...

No Pigeons, Pleeaase

Dying for dollars, this lady was pretty good at being motionless.

Good pickings

The beach birds know the places with the best food.

Goldberg is alive

This imagineered creation combines a lobster boat, a dory and a lot of imagination.

Colorfully crafted

A half a dory attached to each side adds beam for living space.

Well built

FromSavannah, Freddy Freddy plys the ICW under diesel power. A nice retired couple created and maintain her.

The other shoe

Near derelick, yet inhabited - this vessel type creates issues for transient boateers.

Local discard

The hurricane left this shrimper aground. Economics dictate it will probably rot there.
